Reporting to - Service & Support Manager

Job Specification.

  • Planning and arranging new products, engineers and their equipment to be delivered and positioned at various customer sites and then commissioned, across the UK.
  • To liaise with customers, by Phone and email, planning annual service, repair and callout work on equipment at customer sites by engineers, efficiently and effectively and completed in a timely manner.
  • Delivery & Commissioning Planning
    • Review Sage sourced data to allow the timely communication and programming of installation works with customer.
    • Communicate with Production to get early notification, particularly of ‘multi engineer, multi day jobs’
    • Communicate with Production to ensure that expected completion day is on target.
    • Organising deliveries of units through Relay or engineer (whichever is more cost effective)
    • Organise commissioning of all new cabinets with field-based engineers
    • Review installs sheets from sales team to ensure delivery and install of new cabinets run smoothly
    • Liaising with customers and ensuring all details are correct and they are kept informed of cabinet progress
    • Help Coordinate clean room installs and deliveries.
  • Service & Repair Planning
    • Review Sage sourced data to allow the timely communication and programming of Servicing with customer.
    • Build Servicing plans around Delivery and Commissioning plans to minimise non-productive time.
    • Ensure parts and filters are in stock and are either delivered to customer site or taken by engineers in time for pre-planned jobs
    • Coordinate parts and filter deliveries with despatch
    • Plan reactive work for short notice repairs
    • Ensure work is planned in an efficient manner geographically with field-based engineers
    • First point of contact for onsite engineers with any issues
  • Support the wider Service Administration team as necessary.
    • Contact with service engineers to assist with onsite issues
    • Responding to service emails
    • Ensuring all site documentation is up to date – CSCS cards/training/RAMs
    • Assisting with service quotations
  • General Duties
    • Be part of the Contract Review process to understand requirements to effectively plan jobs and engineer workload.
    • Review sage data to source potential sales leads of cabinets without service contracts
    • Plan, organise and manage own workload to ensure it is all achieved in a timely and accurate manner
    • Assisting where necessary with any other ad-hoc duties, tasks and general Company activities required or deemed necessary by Monmouth Scientific.
    • Collate and report on departmental KPI’s as instructed.
  • Excellent IT skills and confident in the use of SAGE 200, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent analysing and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy, both written and typed.
  • Confident & effective communication and listening skills, on the telephone and in person
  • Calm and professional disposition, self-motivated and enthusiastic, willing to accept responsibility.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines, with minimal management supervision
