Monmouth's popular and cost effective range of Modular Clean Rooms that utilise a free-standing aluminium frame are ideal for smaller rooms up to 25m2 or in areas where access is restricted.

The entire area is constructed from a free-standing aluminium framework that can be assembled on site in just a few hours. Sizes can range from 2m2 to almost any size required but are ideal for smaller projects. If a larger system is preferred then our PIR Insulated Modular System should be considered.

For the Aluminium Framed Modular Rooms panel walling can be constructed from a variety of matierals to suit the customers requirements and budget - typically solid panels are manufactured from Foamex, Polypropylene or Solid Laminate.

The Clean Air for the system is created by the clean air module(s) that are fixed to the outside walls or the ceiling of the room. As the air enters the room all air is drawn through a HEPA filter (99.997% efficient at 0.3 microns) which creates a positive pressure in the room and therefore provides a clean area.

All components are manufactured from long lasting and easily cleaned materials to ensure years of uninterrupted service. The construction is lightweight and can easily be extended, dismantled or relocated if required. With a choice of different size standard elements, a hugely varied variety of working areas can be constructed.

    Monmouth Scientific's modular cleanrooms can be designed to achieve a variety of levels of air cleanliness. From the customer requiring a 'clean environment' to the more critical situation where cleanliness to ISO Class 6 (Class 1,000) is essential, Monmouth's modular cleanrooms can be built to accomodate them all.

    The rooms are manufactured from either 30mm x 30mm or 40mm x 40mm aluminum extrusions. The panels between the extrusions are then manufactured from a choice of materials:

    • Polypropylene
    • Foamex
    • PVC
    • Solid laminate
    • Clear polycarbonate

    The modular cleanrooms can be built with or without entrance areas to act as change rooms, and the entrances themselves can be by sliding doors, hinged doors, strip curtains or any combination of the three. If necessary, we can also build in transfer hatches to allow the safe and easy passing of items through the walls.

    Every single room is designed specifically to meet user requirements. With so many options, variations and potential uses no two clean rooms are ever the same!
